About the Speakers:
DR. NILS BEIER:
Nils Beier is a Managing Director at Accenture, leading their strategic innovation portfolio for banking & capital market clients, as well as public sector clients in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. He serves established banking clients as well as FinTechs to innovate and digitize. Nils is a member of the ECB’s MAG committee and is actively involved in various projects to promote the digital Euro. He holds a PhD in Law from the Max-Planck-Institute for Innovation and Competition and resides in Munich.
STEFAN HEFTBERGER:
Stefan Heftberger, a Principal Director at Accenture, leads their payment practice in Austria. As a subject matter expert in payments, he has consulted banking clients, emerging FinTechs, and payment service providers for over 13 years. Stefan holds a master’s degree in business informatics and lives in Vienna.
CHRISTIAN RAU:
Since April 2022, Christian Rau has been the Senior Vice President of Crypto and Fintech Enablement for Mastercard in Europe. He collaborates closely with European and global account and product teams, working on innovative digital payment proposals.
DR. JAN J. KRUPPA:
Dr. Jan J. Kruppa is a legal strategist and a German business lawyer at KNORR Law Firm AG. He writes for the juris Practice Report and was a lecturer at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, Munich, for 11 years.
