We arecurrently looking for a Platform Project Manager for Push-Pull IntercityTrains (m/f/d) for our Mobility location in Vienna or Graz.

Your newfield of activity - challenging and future-oriented

As a Platform Project Manager (m/f/d), you will manage a multidisciplinary team todevelop a passenger coach platform for push/pull operation in Europe and reportdirectly to the Head of Platform. You will take on a central role in ourcompany as an entrepreneur with full profit and loss responsibility for yourproject.

Your mainresponsibilities will include:

Platform and Project Management:

• You will beresponsible for the project in all phases from development, procurement,production und commissioning planning as well as to develop a strategy for thehomologation.
• You willguide the team to develop a platform and drive standardization internal andexternal with partners.
• Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to ensure seamless platform functionality.
• Creating aninspiring and motivating work environment in the team where creativity,teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, and you encourage employees to dotheir best.

Performance Monitoring:

• Monitorplatform performance, identify areas for improvement, and implementenhancements.
• Youcommunicate the project results and progress to management and otherstakeholders.
• Drive andmonitor opportunities to achieve the targets.

Business and Partner Development:

• Identifygrowth opportunities and partnerships within the rail industry.
• Collaboratewith business development teams to expand our market presence.
• Stayinformed about industry trends and competitive landscape.

Cost Optimization:

• Implementstrategies to optimize platform costs and quality.
• Evaluateoperational expenses and identify cost-saving measures.
• Streamlineprocesses to improve efficiency.

Vendor Relations:

• Managerelationships with technology vendors and partners.

Data-Driven Insights:

• Utilizedata analysis to make informed decisions and drive platform improvements.

Compliance & Homologation:

• Ensurecompliance with industry standards and regulations.

Yourqualifications - well-founded and adequate

• Interest insustainable mobility solutions, digitalization, and rail vehicles
• Open-minded,communicative, and proactive personality who can solve problems in anindependent manner.
• Completedtechnical education (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering,electrical engineering, mechatronics, etc.)
• Experiencein leading a project team in a matrix organization with a platform mindset.
• Preferablyyou are a certified Project Manager
• Experiencewith rail vehicle projects is a plus, in any case you should be interest insustainable mobility solutions and in the rail vehicle industry.
• Experiencedeveloping a platform and the surrounding processes is a plus.
• Very goodoral and written proficiency/knowledge in German and English

What elsedo I need to know?
We offer an attractive compensation package that matches your qualificationsand professional experience. According to the collective agreement, the grossannual salary for this position is at least EUR 67.350,-. Depending on youreducation and experience, overpayment is possible.
