Financial Institutions unit is part of Group Markets Financial Institutions within the Group Markets division.
Financial Institutions is responsible for the client coverage of domestic and international financial institutions, payment institutions and the active sales of commercial products like payments & cash management, inter-bank (primary and secondary market) trade finance & guarantees, custody, loans and accounts to this client group.
Bing part of Financial Institution our FI Cash and Product Management Desk is responsible for the Sales and Development of local and group-wide Cash Management Products and Solutions (Payments and Accounts) to FI (bank FIs, non-bank FI and Payment Service Providers (PSP)) as well as to maintain and optimise our cash clearing correspondent banking network always in alignment with the FI (bank- and NBFI) relationship managers.
Your Tasks
- Leading an experienced CM Sales and Product management team and developing people training plans
- Assuming local and (for x-border payments) group-wide responsibility for the product P&L derived from interbank fees, FX conversions, liquidity/NII from sold and purchased CM solutions
- Managing the market monitoring, driving product strategy, development and implementation, assuring updated documentation and T&C for FI CM products
- Being accountable for optimising and steering product profitability as well as drafting and monitoring KPI product budget targets, investment budgets
- Developing, implementing and refining CM Sales strategies and initiatives, product pricings, in line with overall FI sales strategies and aligned with other line managers as well as contributing to the client and product profitability controlling reports
- Defining and managing the daily tasks for the Sales Team - structuring, offering, negotiation, contracting, solution, implementation, pricing, reporting of CM propositions
Your Background
- Ideally university degree or equivalent with focus on business administration
- Long-term knowledge and experience in Cash Management Sales and/ or Product Management, FI or Corporate Payment Solutions (Front, Mid or Back Office) or broader FI client facing
- Strong CM product knowledge as well as Back-Office processes and systems
- Good understanding of operational and non-financial risk
- Strong customer orientation, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Preparedness to travel and flexible in working hours
- Experience in leading a diverse team and strategic thinking
- MS Office, payment systems (e.g. Realpay/Paysic), List DB and similar
- Fluent in English and German, CEE language is of advantage

- The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 48.323,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
