Data Scientist / Data Engineer Internship

Using deep domain expertise, satellite data and the latest in machine learning we deliver solutions to commodity trading professionals worldwide that allow them to make better decisions, faster.
For our Vienna team we are looking for a Data Scientist or Data Engineer intern. During this 3 month internship (preferably from July 2022), you’ll become a valuable member of our Data Team and have the chance to learn from our experienced Energy Analysts and Data Scientists while also bringing in fresh ideas.
What are we looking for:
- Student or recent graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
- Proficiency in Python and its main libraries, including numpy, pandas.
- Basic knowledge of unit-testing and/or integration testing.
- Experience with web scraping libraries like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy or Selenium are going to be highly appreciated.
- Curiosity to learn how to turn complex business problems into concrete requirements.
- Excellent English skills.
- Valid work permit for Austria.

Our salary range starts at EUR 1,600 gross per month. Your actual offer depends on your skills and experience.
