The future of gendered, individualized, data-based medicine and health business.
We will gain profound insights into gender related aspects of medical research and treatments. We will learn about breakthroughs and discuss the chances and also the risks of individualized, data-based medical care. Furthermore we will have a glance at recent developments and the business opportunities they offer.
The conference will be divided into a morning session with keynote speeches and a panel discussion as well as discussions among participants. In the afternoon successful female managers from the health & pharmacy sector, experts, researchers and successful founders will share their experiences with you. You will have the chance to get to know them in lounge talks or workshops.
The EWMD-members-package includes the conference on Saturday, the AGM on Friday afternoon, the social event on Friday evening and the gala dinner & dance on Saturday. Students and graduates from local Business Colleges and Universities will be offered day tickets at reduced fees to attend the conference program on Saturday.

On Friday night we invite you to a typical Viennese „Heurige“ vine restaurant, where you will learn how to „dudel“ – the Viennese style of yodeling!
On Saturday night we will celebrate the 35th anniversary of EWMD International and the 25th anniversary of EWMD Austria. Being in Vienna – can you imagine a more appropriate location for our gala than an original Viennese ballroom? So bring your robes and heels with you, if you like! But no pressure – a cocktail dress will do as well.

Additional sightseeing program will be organized separately. On Friday you may take the opportunity to arrive earlier and join our guided tour at the Emperor’s Summer Palace, the world famous baroque „Schloss Schönbrunn“. On Sunday morning we will offer a guided tour to the city center, the Museum of Art History as well as to the brand new „Seestadt Aspern“, which is actually the largest public housing & city development project in Europe. The Tickets/entrance fees will be charged additionally to those who book the sightseeing program.
Of course you can also explore Vienna on your own. The city is well known for its splendid palaces, museums, historic squares and boulevards, numerous of which are declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may bring your family and friends and spend some time in the historic city. The organizing team will make sure that you will enjoy these days and is willing to answer your questions.
