Das Salzburger Startup Vision1 hat mit seinen Sonnenbrillen, bei denen die Brillengläser gebranded werden können, u.a. Hansi Hansmann und die Runtastic-Gründer als Investoren an Bord. In einer Kooperation mit der Drogerie-Kette Müller will man nun einen stolzen Betrag für die Klimaschutz-Initiative von Arnold Schwarzenegger sammeln.
“I’ll be back” steht auf den Brillengläsern einer Kollektion, die ab kommenden Montag in rund 600 Märkten der Drogerie-Kette Müller in Deutschland und Österreich erhältlich sein wird. Die Sonnenbrillen kommen vom Salzburger Startup Vision1. Das punktet bei seinen B2B-Kunden mit einer Beschichtung, mit der Brillengläser gebrandet werden können, ohne dass dadurch die Sicht des Brillenträgers beeinträchtigt wird. Damit überzeugte das Startup des Ex-Fußballprofis Raphael Reifeltshammer auch unter anderem Hansi Hansmann und die Runtastic-Gründer als Investoren.
Vision1 sammelt für Schwarzenegger, der für Klimaschutz sammelt
Der Verkauf der eingangs erwähnten “I’ll be back”-Brillen soll Geld für eine Aktion hereinbringen, die gestern bei einem Charity-Dinner von Arnold Schwarzenegger im Kitzbühel Country Club präsentiert wurde. Der “Terminator”-Darsteller und Ex-Gouverneur von Kalifornien sammelt Geld für seine Klimaschutz-Initiative. Vom Verkaufserlös der Brillen sollen von Vision1 und Müller gemeinsam insgesamt 100.000 US-Dollar für die Initiative gespendet werden. Schwarzenegger selbst zeigte sich dazu auch mit gebrandeter Brille auf Instagram – allerdings bereits 2018. Warum es mit dem Release so lange gedauert hat, ist nicht bekannt.
“Jeder und jede hat eine eigene ‘I’ll be back’-Story. Im Profisport, als Unternehmer, im Privatleben: Irgendwann haut’s dich auf. Die Frage ist, bleibst du liegen oder stehst du wieder auf? Ich bin wieder aufgestanden. Immer wieder. Und als Arnold Schwarzenegger auf Instagram ein Selfie mit unserer ‘I’ll be back’-Brille gepostet hat, da wusste ich, jetzt wird’s spannend”, kommentiert Vision1-Gründer Reifeltshammer.
Das Startup will nicht nur mit Spenden einen Beitrag zum Klimaschutz leisten, sondern reklamiert auch für sich selber, umweltfreundlich zu agieren. “Die Brillen von Vision1 werden aus recyceltem Plastik hergestellt und sind ‘Made in Italy'”, heißt es vom Startup. “Wer den Merchandise- und Werbemittelmarkt kennt, weiß, dass es da um möglichst viel, möglichst billig geht. Wir wollen das ändern. Wir produzieren umweltbewusst für Premium-Kunden”, meint Reifeltshammer.
