Taxikonkurrent Uber hat sich etwas Besonderes einfallen lassen, um sich vom Weihnachtsgeschäft ebenfalls eine Scheibe abzuschneiden: Der Fahrtenvermittler liefert den Christbaum für den Heiligen Abend direkt nach Hause.
Was wäre der Heilige Abend ohne einen Tannenbaum? Zusammen mit Christbaumzustellung.at sorgt Uber nun dafür, dass die Tanne am Weihnachtsabend nicht fehlt. Dafür kann man direkt in der App seinen Baum bestellen, der dann innerhalb weniger Minuten geliefert werden soll.
Im Alltag steht das Service in direkter Konkurrenz mit den Taxiunternehmen. Denn das Technologieunternehmer ermöglicht es, günstig von A nach B zu kommen – in der Theorie kann jeder ein Uber-“Taxi”-Fahrer sein. Das Unternehmen stößt mit seinem Modell daher auf viel Kritik. Behörden, aber auch die Taxi-Branche werfen Uber unfairen Wettbewerb vor. Die Plattform, die auch Essen ausliefert, sowie Fracht- und Kurierdienste erledigt, ist inzwischen in über 60 Ländern aktiv.
Weihnachtsbaum per App
Am 12. und 13. Dezember kann man nun in wenigen Klicks seinen Baum direkt in der Uber-App bestellen. Geliefert werden österreichische Bäume mit bereits montierten Christbaumkreuzen. Die so genannten “Nordmanntannen” mit einer ungefähren Größe von 1,70m stammen aus Niederösterreich und sollen nach Bestellung innerhalb von Minuten geliefert werden. Den User soll das nicht mehr als 40 Euro kosten.
Christbaumzustellung.at hat seinen Ursprung übrigens in einer Forst-und Gutsverwaltung in Niederösterreich. Die ersten Bäume hat der Großvater aus einer kleinen Garage heraus verkauft. Das ist über 30 Jahre her.
