Einen bisschen gruselig ist es ja schon, wenn Facebook weiß was wir machen, bevor wir es überhaupt machen. Überzogen formuliert? Ja, natürlich! Nichtsdestotrotz geben wir in sozialen Medien viel von unserem Leben preis. Vieles das uns möglicherweise irgendwann einholt, denn verloren gehen tut es nicht. Mit diesen Themen beschäftigen sich Experten sowohl aus technischer als auch aus psychologischer Sicht bei der TEDx-Vienna Konferenz “Future of Intimacy”.
Technologie entwickelt sich permanent weiter, somit wird auch Intimität und Sexualität schon bald auf ein neues Level gehoben. Virtual Reality verspricht lebenswirkliche Erfahrungen ohne der Notwendigkeit physisch anwesend zu sein. Der Film “Her” ist ein gutes Beispiel dafür, dass virtuelle Partner wie Samantha bald Realität werden könnten. Auch Apps wie “Invisible Boyfriend” oder Chatbots wie “Alice AI” tragen ihren Teil dazu bei. Der Trend geht aber noch weiter. Futuristen meinen, dass es in zehn bis fünfzehn Jahren Roboter geben werde, die aussehen und sich anfühlen wie Menschen, mit denen wir kuscheln und Sex haben können. Eine derartige Prognose wirft natürlich einige Fragen auf.
