Learning Lounge: Neukurs probiert es offline und trifft ins Schwarze
Das Wiener Microlearning-Startup Neukurs hat mit der "Learning Lounge" einen ersten Offline-Kurs angeboten. Die Veranstaltung im Cocoquadrat war so erfolgreich, dass daraus nun ein regelmäßiges Format werden soll.
Das Wiener Startup Neukurs hat den US-Trend des Microlearnings nach Österreich gebracht: Online-Kurse, die aus leicht verdaulichen Videos zu maximal zwei bis drei Minuten bestehen vermitteln praktisches Betriebswirtschafts-Wissen. Mit der “learning lounge” hat es Neukurs am gestrigen Donnerstag im Coworking-Space Cocoquadrat erstmals auch offline versucht. “Ziel war es, noch näher an die Kunden zu kommen”, sagt Neukurs-Gründer Felix Dibelka im Gespräch mit dem Brutkasten. Dem Neukurs-Prinzip blieb man dabei treu: Inhalte sollen in möglichst einfacher Form Menschen vermittelt werden, die wenig Zeit haben. Angesetzt war die Veranstaltung zum Thema Storytelling deshalb nur für eine Stunde – gedauert hat der Abend dann aber doch drei Stunden.
“Eigentlich zu viele” Learning-Lounge-Tickets verkauft
“Ursprünglich waren wir unsicher, ob der Preis von 15 Euro nicht zu hoch ist”, meint Dibelka. Verkauft wurden schließlich 34 Tickets, “eigentlich zu viele”, wie Dibelka betont. Mit einigen Partnern und “Promi-Gästen” wie dem Chef des Gründerservices der Erste Bank, Roland Gehbauer, war die Veranstaltung mit 50 Teilnehmern gut besucht: “Gerechnet hatten wir mit 10 bis 15”, sagt Dibelka sichtlich zufrieden. Karten wurden vor allem von Einpersonen-Unternehmern und Startup-Gründern wie etwa Reinhold Baudisch von durchblicker.at gelöst – ganz genau die Zielgruppe von Neukurs, freut sich Dibelka.
Die Story des eigenen Unternehmens schreiben
Der Kurz-Kurs selbst orientiert sich an einem Online-Kurs zum selben Thema, Storytelling. Kursleiterin Ines Häufler hat die Teilnehmer dabei sehr praxisorientiert mit wenigen Lehrmaterialien in das Thema geführt und die jeweils zum Unternehmen passende Story entwickeln lassen. “Die Story kann dann einfach daheim fertig geschrieben werden und ist zum Beispiel gut für einen Pitch oder das ‘about us’ auf der Website”, erklärt Dibelka.
“Learning Lounge” alle zwei Monate
Weil die erste “learning lounge” so gut gelaufen ist, will Dibelka nun ein regelmäßiges Format machen. Etwa alle zwei Monate soll es nun einen solchen Offline-Kurs geben der immer mit einem vertiefenden Online-Kurs korrespondiert. Das nächste Thema soll sich um Unternehmenskultur drehen: “Das Thema ist langweilig, aber sehr wichtig”, meint Dibelka und lacht. Durch die “learning lounges” hofft Dibelka auch auf ein stärkeres Online-Wachstum – in einigen Wochen wird dazu auch die Neukurs-Website in neuem Glanze erstrahlen.
