GO CHINA 2022 STARTUP DAYS VIENNA is a 2-days event in Vienna for Austrian startups interested in the Chinese market that want to explore how to internationalize to hotspots such as Beijing or Shanghai. Enjoy a casual evening full of networking, exchange with China-experts and the GIN GO ASIA alumni network, where you can connect with Austrian startup founders and entrepreneurs who have successfully done business in Mainland China. During the workshops on day 2 you can learn more about Shanghai and Beijing’s vibrant ecosystems and start planning your expansion strategy.

Meet with GIN alumni startups from previous GO ASIA batches in Mainland China and connect with Austrian startup founders and entrepreneurs who have successfully done business in Mainland China. Exchange lessons learned and discuss expansion plans.
Insight Sessions | May 19, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Vienna
Get first-hand insights into the Chinese market and benefit from multiple workshops about Shanghai and Beijing’s ecosystem, WeChat, Chinese Unicorns, and IP protection in China to prepare your internationalization strategy. Benefit from expert know-how and get the chance to win a startup ticket and digital booth for startmeupHK 2022!
Requirements
The 2-Days Startup Event is most suitable für startups meeting the following criteria:
- Open to all verticals
- Austrian later/growth-stage startup (beyond PoC-stage)
- Established in the last 7 years (no k.o.-criterion)
- Raised at least seed-stage investment
- A proven business model with traction (clients, revenue)
- Unique product/solution & working prototype / MVP
- Interest in and/or experience with the Chinese market
Application & Selection Process
- Application via aws Connect by April 30, 2022
- The GIN-Team informs all applicants whether or not they are chosen for the GO CHINA 2022 STARTUP DAYS VIENNA via e-mail latest on May 4th, 2022
