Apps gibt es sprichwörtlich wie Sand am Meer. Entsprechend groß ist die Herausforderung, dass die eigene App heraussticht und in App Store, Play Store und Co. überhaupt gefunden wird. Genau darauf hat sich das 2015 gegründete Grazer Startup App Radar, bei dem u.a. eQventure und Michael Altrichter investiert sind, spezialisiert. Und Kunden aus 160 Ländern, darunter Rovio Entertainment (ua. Angry Birds), Wargaming (ua. World of Tanks) und DEGIRO (Online-Trading) zeigen ebenso, dass die Gründer damit einen Nerv getroffen haben, wie eine jährliche Umsatzverdopplung des Startups in den vergangenen zwei Jahren.
App Radar ergänzt mit TheTool eigene Lösung
Wie heute bekanntgegeben wurde, übernahm App Radar mit TheTool aus Spanien nun erstmals einen Konkurrenten. Die Software ist auf die Analyse und Interpretation von App-Marketing-Daten spezialisiert und die über 400 Kunden werden vom Grazer Startup übernommen. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Asset-Deal. Dabei fließt laut CEO und Co-Founder Thomas Kriebernegg ein momentan sechsstelliger Cash-Betrag. Die endgültige Höhe sei von der Performance abhängig, also wieviele Kunde von TheTool zu App Radar migriert werden, die dann auch App Radar Kunden bleiben.
“Diese Übernahme ist ein wichtiger Meilenstein in der Entwicklung von App Radar. Durch sie verbessern wir nicht nur unsere Marktposition, sondern können unseren Kunden eine noch bessere und umfangreichere Lösung bieten”, kommentiert Kriebernegg. “Die App Analyse Features von TheTool sind ein wichtiges Puzzleteil, um unseren Kunden ein ganzheitliches Produkt für sämtliche Aspekte des App Marketings zu bieten. Die Übernahme ist lediglich ein erster Schritt in die richtige Richtung.
